Tragedy struck the historic Tehachapi Depot when it was destroyed by fire June 13, 2008. At that time, the City of Tehachapi construction crews had nearly completed its restoration. But the community remains undaunted and plans to get "Back On Track" to rebuild and complete the Depot museum and park within 1 year.
